Welcome!

Welcome to third grade! I am excited about the opportunity to get to know you and your child, and I'm looking forward to a happy and productive school year. A great year is planned with lots of fun in store for the third graders. We are sure to have a wonderful time!

Our third graders will be working toward more independence and greater responsibility, as we engage in the more demanding and rigorous third grade common core standards.

About Ms. Wilson:

I am excited to be teaching 3rd grade!  I have previously taught 2nd grade for five years, fourth grade for one year, and third grade for two years. Prior to that, I taught Library Media at Maple Hill Elementary School. I live here in Naugatuck and enjoy working in my own community. I have two children, Kyle and Kim. Both my children are married. so I now have two additional children. I have a son-in-law, Tino, and a daughter-in-law, Jess. Kyle teaches at Pomona College in California and Jess is a special education teacher in the Pomona School District. Kim is attending law school at UConn and Tino is deployed with the Marines in Bahrain. I have included a picture of my beautiful family that was taken at my son's wedding.
