2nd Grade
Welcome to our Adventurous Second Grade!
We are very excited that you will be joining us on this learning journey! As Second Grade Explorers, you will experience building your own country and going on a safari to learn about animals and habitats. As Second Grade Researchers, you will learn about communities and look at folklore and traditions from around the world. As Second Grade Mathematicians, you will work with three-digit addition and subtraction, measurement, data, multiplication, and division. As Second Grade Scientists, you will explore STEM or science, solving problems, working with experiments, and practicing being engineers.
Take lots of time to read over the summer and be ready to put on your goggles and safari hats this fall! We can't wait to travel through Second Grade with you!
Adventure awaits you in Second Grade!
Your friends, Mrs. Bothroyd, Mrs. DiMaio, and Mrs. Piccirillo
