Welcome to Salem School Media Site
Our school's library program strives to instill a love of reading, inspire life-long learning, and foster independent inquiry skills. Students visit our Library Media Center twice a week as a class to check out books, learn and practice information literacy skills and digital citizenship. During those classes and at other times during the day, children explore the world of ideas through literature and media. They are encouraged to read for enjoyment in a wide variety of literary genres. The library is an inviting space where students may acquire knowledge and gain insight. Our hope is that students will open books and open their minds for a better tomorrow.
