Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is youer than you.-Dr. Seuss

Welcome Third Graders!

I am so excited to get the opportunity to teach and get to know each child in my classroom! A great year is planned with a lot in store! We will become more independent and responsible learners as we go through the school year! I am looking forward to the start of school and can't wait to meet you all :) Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you might have!
Your friend,
Miss Cotto ☺

About Miss Cotto: Madison, Maggie, Molly

I was raised in Naugatuck and had the pleasure of attending school in the district from kindergarten up until I graduated high school in 2012. I continued my education at Eastern Connecticut State University where I received a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education and Child Psychology. In 2017, I earned a Masters Degree from Southern Connecticut State University in Education. I have been working in Naugatuck for the last two years as a building substitute and most recently a reading and math assistant. I knew from a very young age that I wanted to be a teacher so getting the opportunity to teach in Naugatuck is a dream come true!
Education: MS: Education, Southern Connecticut State University
BS: Early Childhood Education, Eastern Connecticut State University
Years of Experience: This is my first year teaching :)
Years Working in Naugatuck Schools: 2
A few of my favorite things: Bagels, Diet Coke, Dallas Cowboys, Target, Stew Leonards, my dogs, iced coffee and using my Cricut!
A fun fact about me: I was a cheerleader for 15 years. I cheered at the pop warner, all star, middle school, high school and college level!
